What lands on our desk
- Narrative written for last year’s funder, still naming them.
- Budget in one spreadsheet, the story it funds in another.
- Attachments named scan_final_v2.pdf.
- Deadline: “sometime in March.”
We research the funder, write the narrative, build the budget, and check the packet against the solicitation. You receive a finished application and one invoice.
01 / 07 — Draft against packet
Most of the work is unglamorous. It is mostly matching what was promised in one place to what was budgeted in another.

02 / 07 — Method

Funding announcements run forty pages and keep the scoring rubric near page nineteen. We pull the rubric, the eligibility rules and the last cycle’s awards, then tell you whether the application is worth writing.
OutputOne-page go / no-go memo

Most rejections trace to a narrative that promises one thing and a budget that funds another. We draft both together, so every dollar has a sentence behind it and every sentence has a dollar.
OutputNarrative, budget, budget narrative

A different reader goes through the packet against the solicitation: page limits, fonts, attachments, signatures, file names. Anything that would get the application returned without review is fixed here.
OutputSigned-off compliance sheet, final PDFs

04 / 07 — The funding calendar
Funders keep their own clocks. This is the usual shape of the year for a small Florida nonprofit, and the reason we start your file earlier than you expect.
A typical year, not a promise. Every date is confirmed against the live solicitation before we quote.
05 / 07 — Who we write for
Funders don’t reward the best organization. They reward the clearest application. The working rule at 4320 NW 94th Ter
Small nonprofits with a program worth funding and no development office to write the ask.
06 / 07 — Questions
No, and nobody honest does. Funders decide. What we guarantee is a complete, compliant application that reads the way the funder’s rubric asks it to.
Percentage-of-award pay is something professional grant-writing codes steer away from, and some funders disallow it. A flat fee also means you know the cost on the day you book.
Your organization does. Funders require an authorized representative. We stage every file and can sit on the call for the final click if you like.
The research brief says so before you pay for a proposal. If we start a file and the solicitation changes the picture, we tell you, and you pay only for the work done to that point.
